The game's called Audiosurf. Basically, the objective of the game is to "ride" your song's bumps and dips to get points by grabbing random blocks in a tetris-like way. Honestly, I can't explain it, so I'll let these vids do it for me. Franz Ferdinand - Take me out on Audiosurf youtube.com/watch?v=NPaCQOXgvRYMuse - Knights of Cydonia also on Audiosurf youtube.com/watch?v=pMqIpzDo6sUDaft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger Ditto youtube.com/watch?v=-N_-9unbk24&feature=relatedAnd for those who like expert mode Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames youtube.com/watch?v=1-z6YK92otgBasically, this awesome game takes whatever song you shove at it, and makes a track that'll react exactly to every pitch, volume, and rhythm alteration in your song. It gets really epic. I promise you, you won't stop playing this. BTW, Hare Hare Yukai is awesome with this. Anyways, here's how to get it running in your computer. Since it's a beta (weekend version, as in it was only legitimate a week ago for three days) you'll have to fool around with the host file in your computer, but this thing is worth it. ___________________________________________________ comprehensive list of steps for playing audiosurf (FOOLPROOF) Download this and follow the instructionsDo that, and then check back on this topic. I'll have a mix ready for this game, filled with songs that rock for it. Give me some good songs as well, I really want to challenge myself.

Download this fileIt has a few songs that y'all would probably like while playing Audiosurf. I wish I could have put some more songs on here, but the limit is 100mb for mediafire uploads. I split them up into two groups, based on difficulty level. Try to get a gold medal on all the tracks, on ninja mono mode. Hi-scores for these songs go in this thread. Honor system plz.

So I got it all started up, but then after playing one song it asked for my login info. And the trick in the instructions - to just press the back button - didn't seem to work.

you could just type in anything in the login box and enter it in, that's what I did. I don't think it really matters, since nothing gets sent online or whatever.

Alrighty, what you gotta do then is open your host file (using notepad) and put in these two lines: 127.0.0.1 www.audio-surf.com127.0.0.1 204.13.11.27 If you put any other line on the host file (which btw is found in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\) that says audio-surf.com and some other ip address, delete that and replace it with the one above. Then, download this exe file. It's called audiosurfboard, and what it does is emulate the actual server, so that you can "connect" to it and play. I know it's a chore, but the end result is worth it.

It's all working now, thanks! Actually, this way is much easier than the first one.
Sora iro Days is really fun to play on this. Although, I can't tell if I'm doing well or not. xD
