Speaking of some new changes, what ever happened to Joen anyway? I noticed she hasn't shown up in a long time and hasn't been on the forums either.

I think I remember her telling me that some of us were so deep into anime discussions, that she was getting lost, and it scared her away, basically. Hell, I haven't even seen her on Gaia in a long time either.

Damn, that's sad. I remember another otaku that was like this too. I guess some people are like that. Personally, I feel like a disgrace cause I really don't watch anime as much as I should and I haven't seen that many series. I guess I'm just too lazy or its a lack of time. Then again, I buy manga every single week and I'm always reading it in German class.

I am actually still fairly new to the anime world myself, so most of the anime a lot of you have seen, is all new to me. I mean, I first got started with anime by watching stuff on Kids WB, and on Cartoon Network. It was only later that I found the Anime Network (English dub only), then started looking for websites where I could find English sub versions of the anime. I still am only familiar with few series, but I'm constantly on the lookout for new good anime.

I guess thats how a lot of us got started. I could remember seeing stuff like Samurai Pizza Cats and Sailor Moon on channel 13 in the morning, back when they actually had cartoons in the morning. It was only about a year ago when I started to dive deeper into the scene.
PS: This forum is deader than elvis

wow. I remember Samurai Pizza Cats. That was actually a decent show. They had some pretty good pizzas on that show. Yum!
The forums usually tend to die off during the summer because everyone's too busy actually having their own life, and relaxing. Leaves no time to chat all day long on the forum....unless you're Dana, who seems to spend most of her time on various forums, when she's not with Patrick.

Even if it is summer, it seems like more of an excuse to be on the forums, since we won't be at college to chat like usual. Although, I have noticed that the club was already dead during the second half of the semester. I guess I have no choice but to use the forums to summon some demons...
Are there going to be any unofficial meets during the summer? (No use asking about official ones, thats a thing of the past)
